Dr. Kuppakkat Divakaran is a consultant in Jyothisha Tantrika mantrika, Founder of Sree Siva Yogasramam Trust, Regd, and The Vishwa Veda Vidhyapeeth. He also writes for astrological magazines both in English and Malayalam. He is the Gem Consultant of Alukkas Jewellery.

He was born on 4th Dec 1952. He completed his studies at Irumbanam High School. He studied Diploma in Engineering at Alagappa Nagar Polytechnic. He completed his graduation in 1974 and in the same year, he started working as an Assistant in Menon & Menon Audit Company. Next year he became Manager at Edapally National Company. In 1976 he became an accountant in Jayaram Padikkal’s Dins India Polythene. Also worked as a Pygmy collector at Syndicate Bank. Once when he was traveling on a bus he got a feeling that the bus would meet with an accident. A few minutes later his prediction turned into reality. The bus upturned and he escaped with minor injuries. This event led him to the spiritual path.

He started learning astrology in 1974 at the age of 22. Joined at Kerala Varma’s Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan & studied Jyothisham for two years. Under the guidance of Mr. K. S. Nair, he practised Jyothisham. He started writing the Jyothisha column for K.S. Nair’s Kerala Kaumadi. By writing forecasts based on star signs and replies to queries etc in various magazines like Kaumudi, Women’s, and Trial, he developed the habit of writing.

He started his Jyothisha practice in 1978. Conducted practice every Saturday at Kaloor Pavakullam temple. In the meantime, he got a membership from Astrological Indian Science in Bangalore. He was the Chairman of the Kerala chapter. He started taking Jyothisha classes at Ramakrishna Ashram, Kaloor.

He won recognition for the practices conducted at Pavakullam temple. Also headed the modification work and Deva Prashanam during the fifteen years of his practice. During the period 1980–96 practiced in the temple room of Raj Rajeshwari temple at Palarivattom. Also served as the Audit Secretary there.

Politicians and film aspirants all come to consult him. His predictions are always true and beyond doubt. He has won several awards, which can be categorized into Jyothisha Varaha, Jyothisha Ratnam, Samrat, Upadhyaya, Rajiv Gandhi Rashtriya Ratan, Thennand, Sreeman, Kanakamudra, etc.

In 1991, the Collector Kurian honoured him in a Regional seminar conducted at TDM Hall. In 1984 Alapuzha Sudheedra Theertha Swami blessed him by giving spiritual award.
