The results will be in the latest order. You could also filter/fine-tune your search results from that page.

Avoid prefixes and suffixes like www, .com or .org in the keywords. Also avoid using signs like @, %, &, * etc. in the search field.

• • Listing Title: The title of the listing can be attractive and keyword rich, remember it is a search criteria, so thoughtful titles win more searches. Avoid Malayalam for the title as the search bot cannot identify the language.

• • Descriptions / About the company: The description/About of your listing is the details you would like to include in your listing. It should be precise and short, people will not read long content. Please make sure all the details are mentioned in this column

• • Category: It is also a search criteria, so careful selection of the category is very important. To find out the available categories you can mouse over the link ‘EXPLORE’ on top of the header bar for reference.

• • Tags: Tags are one of the major parts of your listing as far as visibility is concerned; You have options to give up to 30 tags as per the packages you take. Careful choice of your tags makes a huge difference in the visibility of your listing. One pretty useful thing we’ve done is to allow multi-word tags. You can tag a restaurant with “Chicken Tikka” or “weekends with the kids” if that’s something that you will want to remember about it. A couple of tips about tagging:
    • Be consistent – use the same wording everywhere
    • Be specific – vague terminology returns vague results
    • Be helpful – if you don’t know why you tagged a restaurant with “bedroom”, chances are no one else will either.

     

  • Type of Listing (Sub-Category): The type of Listing is the more specific definition of your business, Eg. the Main category is Healthcare and the Type of Listing can be hospital or pharmacy etc.

• • Contact Details (Only for Paid Users): Paid members can show their Telephone No., Email ID and URL in the title area of the listing, which will be a useful feature to contact you immediately once a user sees the listing.

• • Location/Map: Locations are the places of business you possess. We have incorporated a map where you can mark your business location. On the search result page, the results are marked on the map so that you can find the business easily. This feature will be very useful for walk-in customers.

• • Ratings & Reviews: Allow your website visitors to rate and review your business page. You can give control to your members by allowing them to manage their reviews, or you can take complete control and manually moderate reviews on your listings. Reviews are displayed on your business listing pages.

• • Claim Your Business: If you are a business owner and your business listing is already on our website, unfortunately, you missed or forgot the user credentials or you feel that somebody else is managing your listing you can let us know so that we can investigate the facts and come up with a favourable solution.

• • ‘Report’ a Business: Report a business listing is the removal request for inappropriate content or to notify the admin about some obnoxious behaviour about the listing or something which is promised but not facilitated.

• • Like a Business: Another feature we have introduced is ‘Like’ a business, by liking a business a user can add the listing to their dashboard for further reference/view. It will be helpful to compare or shortlist a service or a product.

• • Opening Hours: We have incorporated a time frame when you are available for your business, it includes opening time, closing time, holidays etc.

• • Header Images: To beautify your page now you can add up to 3 header images, which can be a logo, a product snap or anything which will represent your company well. Ensure that your images are cropped in the specified dimensions for a better look. We support the following types of files for uploads: JPG, GIF and PNG.

• • Image Gallery (Only for Paid Users): You can upload up to 30 images in the gallery which will help explain your business better. Again follow the image specs and guidelines to ensure that your listing looks good and avoid blockages. We support the following types of files for uploads: JPG, GIF and PNG.

• • Document Downloads (Only for Paid Users): We are providing the option to upload up to 10 documents for downloading. You can upload Image formats, Doc, Excel, and PDF formats for your customers to download.

• • Video URL(Only for Paid Users): There is a facility to post a video URL (YouTube, etc) in your listing which will be displayed and played within the listing page itself.

• • Quick Contact: In this version, we have incorporated the contact form in the page itself, there is no pop-up or another page to contact you. It is easy and quick for a user to reach you.

• • Ratings and Reviews: So, what’s the difference between a review and a rating? Now the user can give a testimonial or a comment about your business in the listing details page so that other users can see it. Rating is a quick yes or no vote on a service or a product. You can change it at any time by logging into your account.

• There are many other features added to the listings to get a complete impact for an independent webpage.

• On your browser, open OneStopKerala.
• In the search bar, enter the business name.
• Go to the listing page where your company details are displayed
• Click the link ‘Claim’ written just below the company name displayed
• Fill the details in the form and submit. If your contact information is different from the details in the listing, please provide more proof to prove that it is your business
• Within 7 working days, you will get the credentials to manage your page if your claim is valid and genuine
• You can change the password and make the changes as you want.
• Ensure the information on your business page is correct and latest. (We  remove the data on the website which is not relevant and outdated in a random manner, so please stay updated)
