Autism -Sisu Kshema Kendram, Thrissur

The Autism Training Centre under the Kerala State Council for Child Welfare was established in 2008. Though the first centre was inaugurated at Thrissur, the Council is planning to start autism centres in all districts of Kerala. The Centre conducts district-level seminars to raise awareness among people about autism and to give training on how to deal with kids affected by autism. There are 25 children and 18 teachers in this institution.
