Gyno Specialty Hospital was set up by the UK returned doctor couple (Dr. Mani& Dr. Anitha Mani) in 2003 as a multi-specialty hospital. It was established as a center for excellence in high-risk pregnancy, infertility, and laparoscopic surgery.

ART (assisted reproductive techniques) such as IVF & ICSI were introduced with the establishment for state of a art, ART lab in 2007, with Dr. Arun Gudi in charge, as a full-time embryologist. Thus GIFT- Gyno IVF centre was born.
