At Daffodils Montessori we believe that education is a natural process spontaneously carried out by an individual. It is acquired by the experiences of the environment and not just by listening to words. We provide an environment that lends interest to activity and facilitates the child to conduct his own experiences. Children with Montessori education are better prepared to cope with the complex challenges of the real world.

Daffodils Montessori House of Children was co-founded by Mrs. Annie John and Mrs. Indu Shalini. Their passion for providing an authentic Montessori environment for young students paved the way for Daffodils Montessori.

Annie John did her Montessori certification from the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) in the year 1987. She has over 25 years of experience working in a Montessori environment and in conducting teacher training programs. Daffodils Montessori is her dream project where she aims to provide a Montessori environment that adheres to the scientifically proven methodologies developed by Dr. Maria Montessori.

Indu worked as a software engineer for 10 years and quit her job in 2015 to be a full-time mom. She did the Montessori teacher training program facilitated by Annie John. She was thoroughly inspired by the Montessori methodology and understood the importance of the formative years of a child from birth until 6 years. This made her determined to educate her child in a pure Montessori environment and became the driving force in setting up Daffodils Montessori House of Children.
