The history of Ram Coir Mills stretches back to 1950; we celebrated our Golden Jubilee in the year 2002. Ram Coir Mills, originally named as ARC Coir Yarn Trading Company was established in the year 1952 by The Great visionary Mr. A.R. Chennappan.

Mr. A.R. Chennappan, an ambitious and innovative thinker was instrumental in the introduction of the modern verities of Coir Mats. The wisdom of our beloved founder paved the way for the transition of the company from a Coir yarn trading company to a fully-fledged Manufacturer of all contemporary floor covering products, the current range includes mats, rugs, and carpets made from Coir, Jute, Sisal, Rubber, Cotton.. etc.

In the year 1993, the company changed its name to Ram Coir Mills and now are proud to have exported to all parts of the world. The company is now managed by the Second Generation trine of the family led by Mr. A.C. Santhakumar.
