Karimeen Hut Resort is a resort situated on the shores of the Canoli Canal in the backwaters of Thrissur, near Guruvayur, Kerala. Karimeen Hut offers several exciting facilities like fishing, boating, food, a function area, and a safe swimming zone in the river. The resort is situated at the juncture where the Puzhakkal River meets with a canal, which makes it a great place for fishing. Canoli Canal (also known as Canoly Canal) is a manmade canal that is an extension of the West Coast canal system. The canal has great historical significance in inland navigation as it was made way back in 1848 by then collector of Malabar, H.V. Conolly.
