Established by Mr Syed Mohammed THE CITY OPTIK began life as a Malabar Optical store 125 years ago and was later changed to City Optical by his son Mr. S.A.M. Ibrahim. Under the leadership of Mr. Ibrahim, the stepping-stones were carved into the present infrastructure of branches of the group.
Having gained invaluable experience, the natural progression was to develop our retail philosophy to a chain of stores in Kerala applying the same core values of the Optic Shop – namely offering a wide range of quality spectacles at the most competitive prices whilst maintaining very high standards of service.

Our Ophthalmic practitioners will prescribe and fit glasses and contact lenses with the help of advanced technology and, if necessary, they will refer you to a GP or our eye hospital for further investigations.
