Kerala State Electricity Board Limited (KSEBL) embarked on its journey under the Indian Companies Act, 1956, on January 14, 2011. It commenced operations as an independent company on November 1, 2013, following the issuance of the Certificate of Commencement of Business on June 6, 2013.
Our Integral Role in Kerala’s Electricity Sector
KSEBL operates as a fully integrated electricity utility, managing the generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity across Kerala. Our reach extends to nearly 99% of the state’s consumers. KSEBL is wholly owned by the Government of Kerala and serves as a single company.
